All tours will take place from
11:00am until 3:00 pm, weather permitting. Tours are conducted on a first come-first serve basis. Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more.
Only flat rubber soled shoes are permitted (i.e. sneakers, dock shoes, etc.)
Absolutely "NO EXCEPTIONS
Children must
be over 5 years of age and all children under the
age of 13 are required to wear a USCG certified life preserver
on the boat ride to the Lighthouse. We will supply them.
The guided tour is approximately 1 hour long and is subject to
mother nature and sea conditions. At present, our boat can accommodate up to 24 people including lighthouse staff. The boat trip is approximately 15 minutes each way and
runs continuously.
(Sorry, we are not handicap accessible) Special tours can
be arranged upon request.

There is NO PUBLIC DOCKING of boats at the Lighthouse.
The Harbor Master will be notified immediately on Channel
16.

There are two work sessions, Wed. at 8:30, and Sat. at 8:30. The Wed. group will leave
from the Town Dock at Mill Dam Rd., while the Sat. group will leave from the dock at Gold Star Battalion Beach on West Shore Rd. Generally, the Wed. group will work till
the afternoon and the Sat. group works till noon. All work sessions will run from April until November unless cancelled by the weather. Please contact

Directions :
From any major road, take Rt. 110 north, through the village of Huntington. At the third traffic light past Main St., (Rt. 25a), turn left onto Mill Dam Rd., being careful to
keep to the right of the grass island. The Town Dock is on Mill Dam Rd. ( look for the white concrete building for the Wed. work crews.). Drive to the end of Mill Dam Rd. to
the stop sign at West Shore Rd. Turn right onto West Shore Rd. and follow this curving road to the Town Park at Gold Star Battalion Beach. Pull into the far parking lot by the flag pole and meet your Guide at the Beach.
